Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Keystone Apps ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Zappr for Smart TVs iOS application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

Description of the App

Zappr for Smart TVs is a TV remote control and casting app. It discovers TVs and streaming devices on your Wi-Fi network — including Chromecast and Google TV, Samsung Smart TVs, LG webOS, Roku, and Android TV — lets you control them, and lets you cast photos, videos, web pages, and IPTV playlists to them, along with built-in video and image search, described in our Privacy Policy.

License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service (the "Usage Rules" set out in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions).

You may not, and may not permit anyone else to:

• copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where applicable law permits it;
• rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App;
• remove or obscure any proprietary notices in the App.

Subscriptions & Purchases

Zappr for Smart TVs is free to download and use, with a Premium upgrade that unlocks additional features. Premium is offered as an auto-renewing Weekly subscription, which includes a free trial for eligible new subscribers, or an auto-renewing Yearly subscription. The following terms apply to all subscriptions purchased through the App:

• Price and duration are shown in the App and in the App Store listing before you purchase, and payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew for the same duration and at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited once you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, at any time in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions — cancelling doesn't affect the current paid period, which remains active until it ends.
• All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account; refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us directly.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the App in any way that violates applicable law;
• use the App to discover, connect to, or control a device you don't own and aren't authorized to control;
• use the App's playlist, search, or browser-cast features to access, cast, or distribute content you don't have the legal right to use;
• attempt to circumvent free-tier limits or Premium entitlement checks;
• attempt to interfere with the App's operation or the devices it connects to.

Third-Party Content & Playlists

The App does not host, curate, verify, or provide any IPTV playlist, channel, video, or image — it ships with no content catalog of its own. Any playlist, video, image, web page, or other content you search for, add, open, or cast through the App comes from a third party (such as YouTube, Google, a website, or a playlist URL you supply) and is governed by that third party's own terms. You are solely responsible for making sure you have the right to access and cast any content you use the App with, and we disclaim all responsibility for the availability, legality, or accuracy of third-party content.

Your Content

You retain all rights to the photos, videos, playlists, and other content you cast, import, or add through the App ("Your Content"). We don't claim ownership of Your Content. As described in our Privacy Policy, casting and control traffic travels directly between your device and your TV over your local network, and search text you enter is sent directly to the relevant search provider.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on Google's Cast SDK for Chromecast/Google TV/Android TV casting, Samsung's Smart View SDK, and ConnectSDK for LG webOS, Roku, and other network devices, all of which communicate with your devices over your local network. Search features use YouTube and Google directly. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. See our Privacy Policy for details. These third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which we don't control.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, text, and underlying code, is owned by Keystone Apps or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding, and don't grant us any rights to Your Content beyond what's needed to provide the App's features to you.

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the App will successfully discover, connect to, or control every TV or streaming device, model, or firmware version, or that casting will be uninterrupted or error-free — reliability depends on your network, your device, and third-party SDKs and hardware we don't control. Search results and any content you access through a third-party playlist may be inaccurate, unavailable, or unlawful, and we don't verify or endorse them.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keystone Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App — including a failed or interrupted cast, an incompatible or misbehaving device, or your access to third-party content through the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device (and cancelling any active subscription separately through your Apple ID settings, since deleting the App does not cancel a subscription). We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as Your Content, Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability) will survive.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate (such as an in-app notice). Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by generally applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence require otherwise. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App.
